RYAN O'DOWD - Video Producer / Photographer

In the mid 90's, I was the Photographer and Tail Guide at Tyax Heli-Skiing in Whistler BC. I was privileged to spend my days flying around in helicopters shooting clients ride endless amounts of powder in the backcountry.

Early 2000's, I rolled around on snowmobiles and in helicopters taking pictures of my pro snowboarder friends in the mountains on the west coast. I worked as a contributing photographer and writer for many international action sports publications.
 
Late 2000's,my main focus transitioned into video production which brought me all along the west coast from Alaska to Southern California and everywhere in between... 
In those days I produced action sports feature films with global distribution and continued to work as a photographer in the advertising space. 

Now,based on the east coast of Canada in Montreal, doing video production and commercial photography with athletes, models, and suits.
